The Gsieser Tal Lauf will be held on the 18,19 and 20 February 2005. The event will kick off with the “Monguelfo Sprint by night†on Friday 18 February, which will mark the official opening of the fun and games. The race is due to start at 8.30 p.m.
The juniors’ race, the Mini Val Casies /Mini Gsieser, is scheduled for the Saturday. You can put your name down as from now, but entries will be accepted on the spot, up to a few minutes from the start on Saturday 19 February.
More and more athletes are entering for the big race, which is regarded as the second most important cross-country ski race in Italy, and the most important in Alto Adige. Many Scandinavian skiers have already confirmed that they will be taking part, as well as a good number of Italian competitors. Entries can be accepted on-line at the site www.valcasies.com
