The rumours have been getting more and more insistent since Christmas 2004: unidentified flying objects are targeting the Italian skies. The last sighting, not long ago, was in the sky over Milan during a snowstorm. Sightings started in December and increased in January, so many saucer-shaped and cylindrical objects that you couldn’t help thinking that someone up there was watching us…and now a UFO has appeared over the Alps, in the Vajont valley area.
The close encounter was described by E.S. to the Italian site dedicated to sightings of unidentified flying objects (www.ufoitalia.net). It appears that the extraterrestrial with its eye on the Alps was a silvery cylinder flying silently at an altitude between 2,000 and 5,000 metres….
